8) Some people are sure that sun protection prevents them from getting enough vitamin D, that’s why they consume a multivitamin or products containing it, daily. It should be kept in mind that 90 percent of vitamin D gets into a body from sun exposure, but sunlight’s moderation is obligatory.

9) It is wrong to avoid the sun at all to prevent the skin’s damage. It should be remembered that moderation is obligatory.

11) Tan cannot prevent getting sunburned. Sunscreen combined with a base tan increases the skin’s ability to avoid getting sunburned and protects the skin from overexposure.
The duration of the first indoor tanning session should be five minutes; three to four weeks afterwards it can be gradually increased up to 15 to 20 minutes held under the control of a qualified specialist.

When you have a base tan, you can expose your skin to sun rays and not be afraid of getting sunburned. It is recommended to apply a sunscreen, when you are outside, to prevent getting sunburned.
